1 Jahr nach der offiziellen Auflösung des legendären Kollektivs – in dem die Gruppe konsequent und berechtigterweise getrennte Wege ging – haben sich HALF DARLING 2021 wieder zusammengefunden. Große Gesten der Versöhnung hat es offiziell nicht gegeben, im Gegenteil: Die Differenzen sind drastischer und die Fronten verhärteter denn je. Allerdings haben sie mit ihren berüchtigten „No Body- No Mind“ Lectures, ihren zweifelhaften GFCI- Referenzen und den outgedateten Shuffle-Styles endgültig abgeschlossen und treten von nun an als eher mittelklassige Musikgruppe in Erscheinung. So zumindest der offizielle Vorstandsbeschluss. Konkrete Inhalte wurden bislang keine genannt, von den Gründungsmitgliedern dürfte aktuell niemand beteiligt sein. 1 year after the official split-up of the legendary collective – during which the group consistently and legitimately went their separate ways – HALF DARLING have come together again in 2021. Officially there were no grand gestures of reconciliation, on the contrary: The differences are more drastic and the fronts more hardened than ever. However, the bandhas officially stoped with their infamous “No Body-No Mind” lectures, their dubious GFCI- references and the outdated shuffle styles to- from now on- continueas a rather mediocre music group. At least this was the last official board resolution. Specific content has not yet been announced, none of the founding members are currently likely to be involved in the project.
